Changes coming to the GRE in 2011 promise to introduce the use of a calculator, but as of now calculators are not allowed on either the GRE or GMAT. If you’re like me you can do math without a calculator, but you may not be able to do it quickly, and you may check and re-check your answers to catch any minor mistake in calculations. In order to help speed you through the math section of your GRE or GMAT prep I have put together the following videos from Magoosh GMAT prep detailing three calculation shortcuts for quantitative problems.
